Wooooo hold ya horse's

Annnnnnnnd, she’s off. Boy it was so quick 1 week just standing up next week she is walking all over the show. She is about 50/50 (walking/crawling) now so I guess this is where it begins. We love her so much and look forward to the good times ahead. I know everyone talks about how awesome it is having kids and now we are right in the middle of it and are experiencing the good times for ourselves. Love ya Gracie

It's a good day in the Wright household....

I had a few bad days leading up to this proud moment. Included in those bad days was a Pavlova fail moment, apparently if the egg whites get anything in it they wont whip, and so I discovered after 40mins of whipping and a electronic hand whisk that was about to blow up in my hand that something must have gotten in with the egg whites. (Side note - What did women do back in the day without electronic whisks? it would have taken forever. Mum, can you enlighten us? Jokes man jokes, she isn't that old)
After a FAB date with my hubby last night, today I was feeling pretty positive and Voila, Second attempt brought me sweet success.
Whoop whoop. Thing is I am not even a big Pavlova eater so I might not even do this again, I just needed to try it so I can claim to be able to bake a kiwi classic, and start my goal for 2011 with a bang, and that is to be more adventurous in the kitchen.
Check out the photos, I wanted to get a photo of me holding the bowl upside down, Mum taught me that you know it is whipped when you can turn it upside down and have it stay put, but being home alone made that almost impossible.

Ferrari Red Scooter Ohhhhh yeah

eeeeeeheeeeee (the sound you make when someone zooms past you in a car) hahaha ohhhh yeah that's the sound I'll be making from now on. Jessie and I weighed up our options another car or a scooter. Per year the scooter was about $3000 cheaper to run, so we went for the scooter. I'm way stoked cos this gives Jessie full access to the car during the day so she will be loving it. The top speed is 60 but down a hill I got it off the radar so about 90km max lol, But its mad slow uphill lol. Anyways super excited about it aye. eeeeeeheeeeee lol

4 Red 3's and some Red Canastas

No those that know me know I'm hard out into games. Some of you might be wondering "canasta, I think my grandma plays it with her buddies at the retirement village". You could be right but I love it. So I introduced milz to the online game version. Milz was mad panicking, but loving it at the same time. So the first game milz played we were partners. Now the people we were playing were winning the whole game, even got the 4 red 3's at one stage. By then end it was about 4535 to about 3460. Knowing this was our last game it had to be all or nothing. Now if I were them I would be feeling quite confident that they would win, but the luck was on our side. With getting the 4 red 3's and 3 black canasta's we cruised past them to win by 90 points. We were mad loving it lol, they left the game straight after and there goes me and milz loving the win. If you don't play canasta then I'm sorry you wasted you time reading this but, it was a good start to the online masters of canasta Milz and Hayhay lol

42" Babee

For those that are die hard fans would know that on the screen is wolverine, for those that are hardcore would know that my chest hair grows in the shape of and X, but that's beside the point hahahah. We have a New T.V ohhhh yeah. We wanted a TV that would tick all our boxes. Box 1: no small than 42" -tick- Box 2: Full HD - tick- Box 3: LED TV -tick- Box 4: Not brought from the warehouse -tick - lol. Anyways we are super happy with it and ill we need now is a blue-ray player to enjoy it to the fullest. I would say a Play station 3 would be to the fullest but I promised myself not to get one.
